The Cardiovascular Trials Office is one of the disease-area themes of the Cambridge Clinical Trials Unit (CCTU) — a UKCRC-registered clinical trials unit supported by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). Directed by Dr Joseph Cheriyan since 2013, the office leads the design, implementation and delivery of clinical trials on campus, including experimental studies in the cardio-respiratory arena aligned to the NIHR Cambridge Biomedical Research Centre theme.

Aligned to the NIHR Cambridge Biomedical Research Centre's cardio-respiratory theme, the Trials Office supports investigator-led and industry-sponsored trials across cardiology, hypertension, lipids, inflammation and immunometabolic disease.
